Dear Partners & Friends,
We hope you are doing well and still enjoying summer even though autumn beckons.
This summer we had the opportunity to visit with a number of families and churches to give updates and encourage one another in our partnership. In June we enjoyed a weekend with Living Word Ambassador Church (photo above), studying the book of Colossians and worshiping together at the Sunday service. It’s always a joy to strengthen one another in our faith and to deepen our relationships! We also had the pleasure of taking some time to rest and visit with family.
This fall is full of good ministry opportunities, and we need your prayers. After much prayer and discussion, our board approved us to attempt trips to both Ukraine and Haiti before the end of the year. Please pray for protection and travel mercies, not only for us, but for our partners as well. Here is what’s around the corner. Would you kindly commit to praying for each of these ministry trips? Apart from Jesus, we can do nothing (John 15:5) and we need his grace and strength to fulfill our ministry (2 Timothy 2:1).
September 15-19: Philippians workshop with our team in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I will train with Dony St. Germain, our partner in Haiti and the DR.
September 22-30: 1&2 Samuel workshop in south Poland. I will train with Krzysztof, our partner in Poland.
October 10-12: Partnership weekend with Old North Church in Ohio.
October 25-November 7: Hebrews workshop with our National Team in Ukraine, and a Philippians workshop with our new team in western Ukraine.
November 30-December 11: Ecclesiastes workshop with our Polish team in northern Poland, and visiting the second generation groups being trained by our partners in Gdansk. I will be joined by Eshete Chemere, a dear brother and ministry partner from Ethiopia.
December 15-19: Esther workshop with our Haitian Team in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. I will be with Dony St. Germain, our partner in Haiti and the DR.
